Free resources to stay safe and stop the spread

On January 14th, ANA’s Project Firstline team held its first stakeholder session with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to refine the content for Project Firstline, our interactive series of free, online tools to educate you about infection prevention and control (IPC). Stakeholders included Liz McClune, CDC; Terri Rebman, APIC; Sally Watkins, WSNA; Gloria Brighham, WSNA; Sarah Delgado, AACN and ANA’s Project Firstline Team lead by Katie Boston-Leary and Kendra McMillian, Brittany DiNatale, Brenda McNeely, Jackie Zovko and Saul Stoogenke.

Project Firstline will give you all the resources you need to stay safe and stop the spread of COVID-19. Created by IPC experts for front-line health care workers, content is designed so everyone can understand and confidently apply IPC principles regardless of previous training or background.

Topics include the latest COVID-19 precautions, best practices, PPE safety tips, infectious disease guidelines, practical knowledge, and more. As information advances, we will add new resources so you can stay prepared with the latest knowledge to keep yourself, your patients, your family, and your community safe.

As a nurse, having trustworthy, accurate information is vital. Stay Updated and in the know with Project Firstline today.
